Sky Digital Irish subscriptions up 37,000 in past year

Subscriptions to Sky Digital in Ireland have increased by 37,000 in the past year, according to financial results published by BSkyB today.

The results show that 323,000 Irish households and businesses now subscribe to the British broadcaster’s digital service.

The company said almost one quarter of Irish households had subscribed to Sky Digital, while two thirds of households had access to Sky channels through other cable and satellite services.
