ISEQ starts positively
Dublin's stock exchange is in the positive this morning, rising 46 points to 5312.83 by 11am.
The mornings biggest gains came at pharmaceutical firm Elan who flew up 70c to €16.60.
The building materials group CRH also saw a big rise, 20c, to stand at €18.28.
CRH were also one of the busiest on the stock market along with AIB, Bank of Ireland, Fyffes and C&C Group.
Financials were having a positive morning with all but Irish Life and Permanent, who remained static at €12.40, experiencing gains. AIB were up 7c to €12.47, Anglo Irish Bank had an 11c gain to stand at €13.10, while Bank of Ireland had a 12c rise to €10.69.
Construction firm Heiton Holdings were another major riser, gaining 10c to stand at €6.20.
The morning's main fallers were Food company IAWS who tumbled 10c to €9.85 and house builders Abbey who went down 5c to €8.30.
London's FTSE-100 index was up 25.9 at 4350.8 at 11am .
