Between April and June 2004 traffic at West-Link increased by 10%, with record traffic of up to 100,000 vehicles per day being experienced at the Dublin toll facility.

NTR has also announced that Eazy Pass, NTR’s electronic toll collection system, will be available at the new North-Link toll plaza on the M1 at Drogheda, in August 2004.

Traffic at the West-Link toll facility has shown a significant increase since the opening of the second West-Link Bridge in September 2003 with an average daily throughput of 87,000 during the period (April to June).

Morning peak hour traffic has increased by 15% since the introduction of the extra toll lane in each direction and up to 7,600 vehicles per hour use the facility during the busy morning peak hours.
