US bank calls off Cazenove bid

US investment bank Lehman Brothers is understood to have ended negotiations to acquire London stockbroker Cazenove, it emerged today.

The bank is believed to have submitted a number of offers for the group, which acts as stockbroker to the Queen and David Beckham, but they are all thought to have been rejected.
