UK pub firm attacks takeover bid
Founding family shareholders in pub company Yates today attacked a £93m (€139m) takeover bid by a private equity group.
The investors, who hold about 20% of the shares in Yates, said they believed the offer by GI Partners undervalued the firm, which has spent £18m (€26.9m) on refitting 98 of its pubs.
