GUS upbeat after Argos sales surge

British catalogue retailer Argos remained buoyant today following a market-beating 15% improvement in total sales for the three months to June 30.

The business benefited from strong demand in photography, white goods and leisure to give owner GUS a healthy start to its new financial year.
