BA 'on road to recovery'

British Airways said today it was on the road to recovery after one of the worst periods in its history but warned that cost-cutting remained key to its profit.

Chief executive Rod Eddington told its annual meeting in London that it met all the targets in its two-year restructuring programme, which was completed in March.
