ISEQ up, as Abbey shows massive gain

This morning saw the ISEQ index of Irish shares up 17.61 points at 5417.76.

It was a quiet morning for the financials, with AIB climbing 6c to €12.31, Anglo Irish Bank up 2c at €12.50, and Irish Life & Permanent losing 2c to stand at €12.40 at 10.30am.
