Pan Andean begins drilling in Gulf of Mexico

Pan Andean plc, an explorer and producer of oil and gas in South America and in the US, has announced drilling has commenced on the 50%-Pan Andean owned High Island lease in the Gulf of Mexico in offshore Texas.

The well is located approximately 75 miles south east of Houston in less than 100 feet of water. The drilling is expected to take up to three weeks.

Pan Andean is chaired by Dublin businessman John Teeling.
