QFS partner with Nortell to merge networks

Quinn-Financial Services has deployed advanced Internet Protocol (IP) communications solutions to merge its voice and data networks.

The move is aimed at significantly reducing its operational expenses across three contact centres in Cavan, Enniskillen and Blanchardstown, Co Dublin.

With only one network to maintain, QFS will realise on-going savings by reducing the amount of cabling required for less complex infrastructure.

QFS will partner with Nortel Networks and use its Symbosium call centre server, Succession Communication Server 1000, i2050 softphones and Passport 8600 LAN Switch technology.

Shane Woods, systems and information manager, QFS said today: "This is the best solution not only for our contact centre requirements, but also for additional functionality - like mobility - that can be added at low cost and for increased productivity to support our continued growing business."
