Arcon announces new chief executive
The Board of Arcon has announced Peter Kidney will be the group's new chief executive.
He will replace Kevin Ross, who is stepping down as CEO in August to take up a similar position overseas with an international mining company based in North America.
He will remain on the Arcon board as a non-executive director.
Mr Kidney, aged 48, a chartered accountant, has been intimately involved with the development of the Arcon group since it was established in its current form in 1992, initially as chief financial officer and since November 2004 as finance director.
He previously worked with Arthur Andersen in Canada for two years and is a non-executive director of Providence Resources, an Irish-based oil and gas exploration company.
