Language training group plans Dublin centre

A group which provides English language teaching services to the Japanese market has announced plans to develop a web learning centre in Dublin.

A group which provides English language teaching services to the Japanese market has announced plans to develop a web learning centre in Dublin.

ECC Foreign Language Institute Japan, is establishing its first web learning centre outside of Japan at Harcourt Street in Dublin, with the support of IDA Ireland.

ECC will provide live on-line interactive English language teaching services to customers in Japan via the web.

It will create 30 new jobs over five years for English-speaking graduates. The Centre went live on the June 1, and, with a number of tutors already employed, recruitment is on going.

Tánaiste Mary Harney announced the decision today.
