Associated newspapers switches mag contract
British publishing group Associated Newspapers today announced the award of a new five-year contract for the printing of its main weekend supplements and magazines.
From next June, Polestar Group will be the major supplier for printing and finishing 2.6 million copies a week of both Night & Day and You Magazine for The Mail on Sunday and 3.5 million copies of Weekend for The Daily Mail.
The company, which employs 5,500 people worldwide, replaces Quebecor World, which has produced the magazines since 1995.
Other titles handled by Polestar include Woman’s Own and Country Life, while it has also printed the Radio Times for the last 75 years.
