The ISEQ index was down 25 points to 5288.93 in early morning trade.

Financials were mixed with AIB down 5c to €12.20 while Anglo Irish was down 12c to €13.20. Irish Life and Permanent was down 8c to €12.60. Bank of Ireland reversed the trend, up 1c to €10.52.
