ISEQ rallies despite markets uncertainty
The ISEQ rallied in early morning trade after Tuesday's slump in world stocks caused by uncertainty over rising oil prices.
The ISEQ was up 35.03 points to 5257.41.
Waterford Wedgwood announced the sale of US subsidiary All Clad for €203m ($250m) - doubling its money within five years.
Shares in the company were trading at 18.5c.
Donegal Creameries has merged its Carbrury mushroom division with Monaghan Middlebrook Mushrooms division. Shares in Donegal remained static at €4.50.
Meanwhile banks trading saw no sign of the recent controversies denting investor optimism as AIB climbed 15c to €12.18, Anglo Irish was up 6c to €12.83 while Bank of Ireland was up 17c to €10.36.
Eircom was up 3c to €1.46.
