Corporate watchdog investigating AIB scandals

The Director of Corporate Enforcement has revealed that he is investigating a possible breach of company law in relation to the recent scandals at AIB.

Speaking at the launch of his annual report for 2003, Paul Appelby said: “We examined the AIB press statement and identified a couple of issues which gave us cause for concern.
