Iseq closes down after late slip
A late slip saw the Iseq close in negative territory today, with the index closing down 0.9.
The Iseq ended the day at 5,180.87, down 0.9.
AIB closed the day down 3c to end at 11.88 but there was better news for Bank of Ireland, which climbed 13 to finish the day at 9.96.
Anglo Irish Bank closed the day up 10, finishing at 13.03.
Irish Life and Permanent saw the formal retirement of company secretary Sean Ryan today, to be replaced by Ciaran Long. IL&P closed today at 17.30, down 5c.
There was better news for food giant Kerry today. Kerry Group closed the day up 30c to 17.
Buildings group CRH was down 11c today to 17.5.
