High street giants Marks & Spencer and Boots will be among a clutch of heavyweight companies to report results this week.

Music group EMI has already told investors that the global music market is in decline and this should be reflected in annual profits falling to £165m (€245.8m) from a total of £177m (€263.8m) a year earlier.
