Six new partners have been appointed to law firm McCann Fitzgerald.

Six new partners have been appointed to law firm McCann Fitzgerald.

The new appointees include Valerie Lawlor, a specialist in mergers and acquisitions and energy, Hugh Beattie and Fergus Gillen, experts in capital markets/structured finance/financial services, Jane Ward, a specialist in public private partnerships and construction law, Sheila Gibbons, an expert in commercial disputes and Mark White, a specialist in investment funds and financial services.

Chairman, Ronan Molony, commented: "The success of the firm has always been closely allied to the legal and technical excellence and the sound commercial and personal qualities of our partners and we believe that these six new partners will maintain and continue that excellence and those qualities".

McCann FitzGerald was recently awarded Irish Law Firm of the Year by International Financial Law Review (IFLR) which recognised its achievements in M&A, banking & capital markets and projects/public private partnerships for road infrastructure projects for the National Roads Authority.

It also represents drinks company Cantrell and Cochrane (C&C) Group plc, which launched its initial public offering last week.
