Minister discusses all-Ireland energy plans

Communications and Natural Resources Minister Dermot Ahern has met his Northern counterpart as part of ongoing discussions about cross-border energy and telecommunications plans.

Mr Ahern said both he and Northern counterpart Barry Gardiner agreed that there was scope for further co-operation in exploiting renewable energy sources.
