Hotel group re-opens Tower

Irish hotel group Jury's landmark five-star Towers hotel in Ballsbridge, Co Dublin has been re-opened after refurbishment.

Highlights of the refurbishment include a 17-seat cinema room and an exclusive exhibition of nine original portraits of author James Joyce taken by the photographer Josef Breitenbach in 1937.

Jurys Doyle Hotel Group is the official accommodation partner of the summer long ReJoyce Dublin cultural festival this year.

Niall Geoghegan, Marketing & Sales Director of the Jurys Doyle Hotel Group, said: "We are delighted to announce the reopening of The Towers after such a significant refurbishment.

"We look forward to welcoming guests to enjoy the new Tower’s view as well as other new features, including the new cinema room," he added.

Shares in the company traded down 8c at €9.60 on the Iseq earlier this morning.

Jurys Doyle is one of the fastest-growing hotel groups in Europe.

With more than 30 properties in the UK, Ireland and USA, the group's rapid expansion began in 1993 with the launch of the Jurys Inns budget brand.

Strong growth has continued ever since, with the opening of eleven new properties and the acquisition of Doyle Hotels in 1999.

Six new properties are scheduled to open for business during 2004 and 2005 .
