The London stock market suffered its worst session in more than a month today as worries over US interest rates and oil prices hit confidence.

The London stock market suffered its worst session in more than a month today as worries over US interest rates and oil prices hit confidence.

About £25bn (€37m) was wiped from the value of the FTSE 100 Index, which closed 103.2 points lower at 4395.2.
