IFA Telecom building up customer base

The farmer owned telecommunications company IFA Telecom, has said it had signed almost 15,000 subscribers in its first year of business.

The company has launched a new low cost 'pay as you go' interest service for customers.

IFA's Pat Smith said IFA Telecom was aiming to reduce home phone and internet costs, with new internet product offers 25% saving over Eircom's pay as you go rates.
