Electric Paper enters agreement with Harcourt

Dublin-based e-learning company Electric Paper is to enter into a joint venture agreement with Harcourt Education International.

The ThirdForce plc subsidiary will develop and market a range of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for education products, in what is believed to be one of the first deals of its kind in the sector.

The products will be available from the start of the next academic year and will focus initially on the UK market.

They consist of interactive learning components that include engaging simulations that teach conceptual and practical skills.

Speaking today, Brendan O’Sullivan, chief executive of ThirdForce plc, said: "This is an important partnership between two industry leaders.

"Harcourt’s brand strength, experience and distribution network is the perfect complement to Electric Paper’s track record of developing quality interactive educational materials."
