BMW aim to flog 1.4 million cars in 2008
BMW is planning a product and marketing plan designed to up group-wide annual vehicle sales to 1.4 million units in 2008, compared with the 1.103 million sold in 2003.
Speaking at an US auto fair, BMW head of German operations Ludwig Willisch said the group will launch a record number of new models this year.
Willisch said BMW Group, which includes the BMW, Mini and Rolls Royce brands, sold 270,000 vehicles in the first three months of 2004, up 3.2% on the year earlier quarter.
