EBS cuts home loan rate

The Educational Building Society is to cut its variable mortgage rate to 3.25% which it claims is now the lowest on the Irish market.

The new rates will be introduced from the end of the month - tomorrow - and applies to both existing business and new customers.

A new home loan tracker product will also be launched at the same time and will again target both new and existing clients.
