New shuttle for Knock Airport and Charlestown

Knock International Airport has announced the introduction of a shuttle-bus service between Knock International Airport and Charlestown, Co Mayo.

The bus service will be operated by Bus Eireann, and will link the airport with Bus Eireann's bus network.

The shuttle bus will operate between the hours of 9am - 7pm every day including Sunday on an hourly basis, with half-hourly journeys during peak afternoon hours to meet flights. Tickets will cost €3 for a single journey and €6 return.

Desmond O'Flynn, Marketing and Sales Manager, Knock International Airport, said: "This innovative shuttle-bus is sure to provide an important service to our customers. Charlestown is a key intersection between the N5 route travelling East to West and the N17 route travelling North to South."
