ISME urges business to capitalise on enlargement

ISME has called on Irish business to capitalise on EU enlargement.

The organisation representing small and medium enterprises insists the economic, political and social change the new member states will bring will provide labour and market opportunities.

Chairman Robert Berney said, “ if you have a business which is under threat from cost problems obviously there is an opportunity of relocating at least part of production to one of the emerging countries.”
