SRH upbeat on first half estimates

Scottish Radio Holdings (SRH) said trading for the first half of the year will show an estimated increase in group revenues, excluding acquisitions, of 10%, with a 12% rise in radio revenues and an 8% increase in press revenues.

Scottish Radio Holdings (SRH) said trading for the first half of the year will show an estimated increase in group revenues, excluding acquisitions, of 10%, with a 12% rise in radio revenues and an 8% increase in press revenues.

The company said that for the six month period from October to March, including acquisititions, radio and press revenues are estimated to be show a 14% increase.

"The group has had an encouraging first six months with good performances from both the radio and press divisions and we look forward to a satisfactory result for the group overall, for the financial year to 30 Sept ," said SRH in a trading update this morning.

The group said it considers that the company is in a strong position to continue to develop the two divisions both organically and by acquisition, and that the group's prospects remain attractive.
