Trintech secures major railway software deal

E-payment infrastructure group Trintech said today that Scheidt & Bachmann is to use its OpenPay 3000 product for ticketing at railway stations across Europe.

Scheidt & Bachmann, which supplies automated ticketing and payment systems, plans to roll out OpenPay 3000 to enable secure payments at unattended ticket vending machines.

It currently has agreements to supply ticketing systems in several countries, including Scotland and Ireland.
