New group finance director to join Aviva
Life and pensions company Aviva has confirmed that 46-year-old Andrew Moss will take up his new position as group finance director on May 10, 2004.
The company announced in January that Moss would be joining Aviva from Lloyds' of London, where he is director of finance, risk management and operations.
Philip Twyman, who took on the responsibility of the group finance director role from 1 January 2004, will retire from the group at his normal retirement date of 31 March 31 2004.
In the interim, until Moss joins Aviva, Philip Easter, managing director of group finance will oversee the company's group finance function, reporting to Richard Harvey, group chief executive.
Aviva is the seventh biggest insurance provider in the world. Hibernian Life & Pensions and Hibernian Investments Managers are among the company's operations in Ireland.
