Knock Airport announces new route

Knock International Airport welcomed the announcement that bmibaby will operate daily direct services between Knock International Airport and Nottingham East Midlands Airport, commencing April 30.

Knock International Airport welcomed the announcement that bmibaby will operate daily direct services between Knock International Airport and Nottingham East Midlands Airport, commencing April 30.

British airline bmibaby has already committed to operating a daily service between Knock and Manchester to commence on March 28.

Liam Scollan, Chief Executive, Knock International Airport, said: "We anticipate that they will bring an additional 150,000 passengers per annum to and from the region. This announcement further strengthens Knock International Airport's position as the pivotal airport in the BMW region".

The new daily service to Nottingham East Midlands Airport will operate seven days a week and the flight time will be 60 minutes, with tickets on sale online from today.
