3Com and Digital Wiring have signed a £125,000 (€186,095) contract with Belfast City Council for a major Local Area Networking (LAN) upgrade.

The implementation, designed by Digital Wiring using 3Com equipment, is the largest local authority network in Northern Ireland and will benefit 1,000 users across 30 sites.
