Dell to relinquish CEO role

The founder of Dell computers, Michael Dell, has said he is to step down as chief executive of his company in July.

The founder of Dell computers, Michael Dell, has said he is to step down as chief executive of his company in July.

His successor Kevin Rollins, has worked at Dell for eight years. His most recent position at the company was president and chief operating officer. Dell, however, will remain chairman of the board.
