Rugby boss launches IMI conference

Irish Rugby team manager, Eddie O'Sullivan today launched this year's IMI Management Conference, to take place place in Killarney in April.

He said :"Irish managers, in whatever business or sphere of life, must strive to build on the great progress made in recent years, as we have done with the squad of players we have in the Irish set-up."

The Conference will be chaired by Chris Horn, Chairman IMI Council, and the opening address will be delivered by Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.

Among the speakers at the conference this year are: Henry Mintzberg, Professor of Management at McGill University, Ken Goldstein, Economist at the Conference Board USA, Liam FitzGerald, chief executive of United Drug plc, and Mike Shearwood, Managing Director of Zara UK and Ireland.
