Ormonde partners with IGE in joint Spanish venture

Ireland-based exploration company Ormonde Mining plc is to undertake a further drilling programme in north west Spain.

Detailed soil sampling during Q4 2003 on the Tracia permit has defined two large, coherent gold /arsenic, an important gold indicator element in this area.

Ormonde has partnered with the Swedish mining company, International Gold Exploration on the Tracia project.

Listed on the Oslo stock exchange, IGE can earn a 50% interest in Tracia by spending €260,000 over a two-year period.

IGE is also funding all ongoing exploration activities and is the operator, responsible for field and administrative activities.

Ormonde's portfolio includes projects with existing gold resources, and properties where it anticipates that drilling will identify new resources.

The company is focused on developing gold projects in Europe with a particular emphasis on northern Spain.

Properties are selected with a bias towards high-grade, advanced resource

potential.
