Nokia wins major Moscow contract

Nokia Corp, the world's number one mobile phone maker and networker, has won an order to supply Moscow City Telephone Network (MGTS) with broadband DSL solutions and related services for an undisclosed sum.

Deliveries have already begun and network implementation is now underway, it said.

Nokia is to supply MGTS with its Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer, D500 IP DSLAM, which delivers integrated IP functionality for broadband services.
