UTV offer €29 broadband deal

UTV Internet announced today it is to offer a new broadband Internet deal in Ireland for a monthly charge of €29.

The Clicksilver service offers speedy internet access 24 hours, seven days a week and is suitable for either residential or office use.

Scott Taunton, managing director, UTV Internet said: "We've always said that the high cost of broadband in Ireland was prohibitive to market growth. We’re confident that our UTV Clicksilver product will stimulate the market further as broadband is now at an affordable price for the first time ever in Ireland."

Clicksilver customers can also avail of UTV Internet’s telephone service which gives 25% off Eircom standard call rates for local, national and international voice calls and a 5% discount on calls to Irish mobiles.
