LogicaCMG signs €10.48m offshore contract with Britannia Airways

IT services provider, LogicaCMG has announced a £7m (€10.48m) offshore applications management and IT support contract with Britannia Airways.

Britannia is part of the 'World of TUI' group of companies, which also includes TUI UK, encompassing Thomson, the UK's largest tour operator and Lunn Poly, the UK's biggest travel agency.

LogicaCMG has offices in Europe (including Ireland), the Americas, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Britannia Airways, one of Britain's largest charter airlines, serves more than 20 destinations including Brazil, Thailand, and the US. The carrier operates a fleet of 33 aircraft.

The scope of the five-year contract covers management, support and enhancement of more than120 of Britannia Airways' IT applications, which LogicaCMG will deliver out of India.

LogicaCMG currently manages the support and enhancement of all Britannia's applications.
