Cash award for UCD research centre

Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) has announced an award of €7.7m to University College Dublin's Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research.

This will support its efforts to bring together scientists from academia and industry to research how doctors can better treat brain illnesses that include Alzheimer's disease, schizophrenia and depression.
