DCC considers move to waste management, says report

Business services group DCC is understood to be considering entering the waste management market in a move that would lead to further consolidation in the fast growing sector, according to a report in the Irish Independent.

A spokesman for the group would not comment on reports that DCC was in talks with one of the leading players in the sector, however a source close to the group said the company was watching developments in the waste management market and that it was interested in expanding into the sector.
