Am-Beo announces new chief executive

Irish software company Am-Beo has announced that Michael Murphy, currently executive vice-president, will replace John Brady as president and chief executive of the company.

Irish software company Am-Beo has announced that Michael Murphy, currently executive vice-president, will replace John Brady as president and chief executive of the company.

Brady, one of the co-founders of Am-Beo, will peruse other opportunities and will remain a shareholder in the company.

In addition the company announced other key organisational changes.

Eoin Leahy, currently chief technology officer, will now oversee all product and solution development and Stephen Murphy, vice president of professional services, will take on software development and engineering, training and customer service.

The current vice-president of finance, Sinead Donnellan, will now take over responsibility for human resources, legal and corporate administration.

Based in Galway and with offices in London, Dublin, Paris, Madrid and Denver, AM-BEO provides software and service solutions to support telecommunications providers.
