Insurance firm to create 75 jobs in Galway
Insurance firm Marsh Ireland is to create 75 jobs in a new financial services centre in Spiddal, Co Galway.
The centre will become a telesales and claims administration facility in the town.
Marsh has already recruited 50 staff and will hire further employees in the coming months.
Opening the centre today, Minister for Rural, Community & Gaeltacht Affairs Eamon Ó Cuiv said: "It is very important that high-quality employment is provided in the Gaeltacht so that people no longer need to leave their own area to work in modern services."
