Enron chief Skilling to be indicted today: Reports
Jeffrey Skilling, former Enron chief executive, is expected to be indicted today for his part in the failed energy giant's accounting fraud, according to the latest US press reports.
Skilling, 50, is likely to be indicted for fraud and conspiracy.
Just last month, Richard Causey, former Enron chief accounting officer, faced a simliar indictment by a federal grand jury in Houston.
Papers say that prosecutors in Skilling's indictment will rely partly on information provided by former Enron executives Andrew Fastow and David Delainey, who pleaded guilty to conspiracy and insider trading respectively, in January and October.
