Troubled Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel could be thrown a £900m (€1.3bn) lifeline as it battles widening losses, it was reported today.

London & Continental Railways (LCR) has met representatives of the company with a view to providing an injection of cash, Britain's Independent on Sunday stated.
