Aer Arann has announced it will commence a new Cork to Belfast City service, which it estimates will carry over 20,000 passengers between the two cities by year end.

Aer Arann has announced it will commence a new Cork to Belfast City service, which it estimates will carry over 20,000 passengers between the two cities by year end.

The service will commence on Monday, March 1 next. The airline will provide two flights per day from Monday to Friday.

Flight and fare details will be confirmed over the coming weeks.

Jennifer Mooney, commercial manager, Aer Arann said: "We are delighted annouce our sixth service from Cork Airport which has become a major hub for Aer Arann, carrying in excess of 266,000 passengers through the airport in 2003."
