IWP boss scoops up 100,000 shares
Personal care company IWP said today its chief executive Jim Murphy has bought 100,000 shares in the company at €0.32 each.
The shares, equivalent to a stake of 0.125%, represent Murphy's entire shareholding in the company.
Former Golden Vale boss Murphy replaced acting CEO Bernard Byrne last September, following a failed management buyout offer led by Byrne.
Earlier today the company announced it had agreed to sell the Skiffy Group for €28m in cash, in order to concentrate on core business.
