Vodafone Sweden axes call and text prices

Vodafone Sweden AB has announced that from February 1 it will cut the price of mobile calls for Vodafone 60, Vodafone 60 Young Edition and Vodafone 120 customers by 25%, and the cost of sending an SMS by 27%.

Under the new pricing, Vodafone mobile calls to other Vodafone mobile customers and the fixed network, will cost 0.30 skr (€0.03) per minute during evenings and weekends.

The price of a sending an SMS message to any network in Sweden will fall to 1.10 skr (€0.12).

Vodafone said it will also offer subscription packages, one of which reduces the price of an SMS message to 0.75 skr (€0.08).
