Land Rover workers on 24-hour strike

Thousands of workers at car giant Land Rover will stage a 24-hour strike over pay today which will hit production at the company’s main factory.

The walkout, which will start at 6am, will be the first at the vehicle maker since 1988, when the firm was part of British Aerospace.
