UTV - mixed radio profits for 2002
UTV's radio interests in Limerick and Cork had a combined pre-tax profit of over €3m in 2002, according to accounts recently filed with the Companies Office reported in the Irish Independent.
The paper says that while profits increased at the media group's Cork operations, Cork 96FM/103, Limerick-based Treaty Radio Ltd's pre-tax profits fell 75% to €130,420.
UTV, which also owns Lite FM, bought the Limerick station in 2002 for €16m.
